It's not a how-to.
Instead this is a look through some of Shereen's collection
– some of what you would see if you came to Shereen's bindery.
It's a two-hour visual feast.
Starting with fore edge painting, working through Islamic Q'ran holders,
progressing into a Coptic personal alter and my illustrated Coptic Bible. Then comes
the Batak bindings, leaf books – including two large special leaf books and next
we ramble through some private press books. Finally, the last half shows con-
temporary artists' books. I try to stay away from how-to, feeling it's up to the artist
to let you in on any how-to parts.
A listing of the artist's addresses or contact numbers in included.
Mainly think of it as a visual feast. Lots of ideas.
